Question : yes please. My brother is 75 years old 160 pounds 6 foot tall ,diabetc. blood pressure 176 / 94 . what can he do.he took 50 m. of losartan.

Welcome to HCM and thanks for your query.
I appreciate your concern for your brother.
His blood pressure is above the desired range. In addition to the medicine he is taking he should use a DASH diet if he is not on it and exercise regularly, and practice stress relieving measures.
If it is not sufficient to get his BP to the desired level of 140/90, he may have to consider adding a second medicine to Losartan.
