Brief Answer:
Detailed reports needed.

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query.

Read and understood your concerns but more history is required.

I would be happy to know more details for me to assist you more:
- Were you operated before for varicocele or you do not want the surgery? If yes, when was the surgery performed?
Please give which type of Surgery was performed. You may please attach the Discharge ticket where the procedure is written. YYYY@YYYY
- Is there any pain felt at the left side of the umbilicus (in the abdomen) - like a pulling or dragging pain?
- What are the other precautions are you taking?
-
You have a varicocele measuring 3 mm on left side, have some bad and heavy feeling and sometimes small pains. You are advised to take Daflon and reparil. Wants to know whether these might re-cure or just help the side effects.

This will all depend upon the properly done Clinical evaluation, Actual physical examination by a General Surgeon or an Urologist, the actual Ultrasonography and color doppler report. (please post these reports as: YYYY@YYYY )

If there is positive enlargement on Valsalva (increase of the intra-abdominal pressure), these medicines may just help symptomatically and you need to get the re-surgery done of cutting interrupting the main vein/s joining the left varicocele to the left kidney vein to get the results.

A simple test you can do at home and let me know:
Stand erect for 5 minutes, let the varicocele bulge nicely; then bend in the back and see if the mass of varicocele is reducing or not. If the mass reduces immediately on bending down, you need a surgery.

I hope this answer helps you to get a proper diagnosis, and get a proper further treatment. Please feel free to ask for more if you need to or if you feel that there is a gap of communication.
