Brief Answer:
depends upon their severity

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for writing to HCM.

There are various treatment modalities for varicose veins like stripping, injection sclerotheraty, foam sclerotherapy, laser or ultrasonic ablation.

But all these have their own indications and limitations.

It all depends upon the severity of the condition and the condition of the valves and the perforators.

I suggest you first get a color venous doppler of your affected legs. It is an essential investigation before planning curative treatment on this varicose vein. It gives a clear picture of the disease severity and further management will very much depend upon that.

In the interim, you can use compression stockings while at work and rest with the limb elevation.

Hope I have been helpful.
