Question : I have a severe Balance problem, when bending over and walking. Any idea what could be the problem. The VA can't figure it out. Have had a CT SCAN.Can not have a MRI because I have a Pacemaker.

Hi,

At your age, imbalance can be because of many central and peripheral vestibular disorders like meneires disease, BPPV, labrynthitis, viral infection etc. CT scan is normal and suggests there is no severe lesion in the brain.

This needs clinical evaluation and treatment. There is no over the counter drug for imbalance, all are prescription medicines; so consult with the doctor and get treated.
