Suggest Treatment For Vertigo And Nausea

default
Posted on Tue, 16 May 2017
Question: I had Influenza A the first of April. 2017 I took Tamiflu, cough syrup, cold and flu nighttime but I am still having nausea.. (2 weeks) I went to the dentist to have lots of work done including implants, and he said my teeth had erosion from silent nightime reflux. I wake up in the morning with nausea and also when its time to eat. I was not aware that I was having any reflux at night but am having the nausea. Ive had a few incidents with vertigo but this seems different. Just nauseated. No dizziness. I have Zofran and it helps a little.

Brief Answer:
Omeprazole 20 mg should help.

Detailed Answer:
Hello.

Thank you for the query.

Acid reflux can be the reason of constant nausea as well as throat inflammation (due to acid reflux). Are you sure it was an Influenza, not a strep throat?
To get rid of acid reflux you should start Omeprazole 20 mg once a day (in the morning). Avoid fatty foods, spicy foods, chocolate, orange juice. Do not eat 2 hours before sleeping. Put an additional pillow under your head.

Hope this helps.
Regards.
