Question : Hi, I am experiencing vertigo. I have had symptoms for two day. It occurs when I turn my head. I am a 65 yr old female. I take three medications, lipitor, zoloft and wellbutrin. Would these drugs react with meclizine? I have not seen a doctor. I have no weakness in either side of my body, no headache or vision problems. I di have a prescription for meclizine 12.5 mg 4 times a day. Can I take this until I see a doctor on Monday?

I am sorry to hear that you are suffering from vertigo. Your question is can you take meclizine while on Lipitor, Zoloft and Wellbutrin. The answer is yes you can without concerns. Also those medications would not be implicated as the cause of your vertigo. Frequently we never find the actual cause for vertigo. I would recommend taking the meclizine 3 times a day as needed to help with the vertigo.
