Suggest Treatment For Viral Fever And Gastritis
Question: I am XXXXXXX 45 years old i have cough now i take avil, vitaminc,dolo 650 last 2 days night only, now if i sneeze my heart was pain in my stomach(upper) has also pain(Burning sensation). My previous histry i was taking medicine Parit (ravi prosol) 20 mg Bd, Rosart 5 mg(stat in) od, XXXXXXX 5 mg od.
I regularly consult with Cardilogy early once last visit (18.01.15), Gastroenterology 6 month once for Erithmatic gastrics,fatty lever. Breathing problems comes last month i immediately consult cardiology take all test shows no problem in heart. block in nose after take inhale it is normal but again it comes next day after i am going outside
Now i was doing all my regular works shall i take any medicine additional or consult any specialist

Hi,
I had gone through your question and understand your concerns that you are having cough with burning sensation in chest.
As per your clinical details, it appears to be viral fever with erosive gastritis.
Cold, dry cough with fever denotes viral fever, pain in chest during sneezes suggests acute gastritis. Most of the viral fevers are self limiting, can be controlled by routine medications like dolo (paracetamol) and avil.
I suggest you to follow these measures to overcome your issues.
1. Take ppi inhibitor with prokinetic combination pan-d (pantoprazole + domperidone ) (over the counter) before food twice daily (half an hour prior).
2. Take tab. ebastine 10mg (ebast) one tab at bed time.
3. Do steam inhalation, nasoclear (saline) nasal drops 3drops/3 times (over the counter), Continue your routine medications ( Parit, Rosart and Concord).
In case of persistence, you need to see a physician or ent surgeon to rule out other causes.

The burning sensation & Chest paid when it will stop because it will create some panic in my mind.
You are 100% correct judgement because Already my two Kids & my wife, mother,father have same problems Dry Cough, Caugh, Fever then doctors find out that it is Viral infection. I have Dry cough very high.
Sir i ask one question i was using Raviprzole more than 2 years bd ( First one year 40 mg BD (sompraz), Now Priot 20 mg bd last 1 year when this problem solved (here i was tell my routine activity i am non smoker, non alcoholic and no bad habits but my job relates accounts so some stress is there. I have 2 kid 4 year, 7 months so my sleeping is dis-ordered to take care my childrens, my morning tiffen time 10-11 am, lunch 2-3 pm, night 8-9pm. No physical activity.
I was suffered 3 years before Vasal vacco attack then only i consult cardiology regularly for Concor 5 mg, Rosart 5 mg (Colostral, Hypertension) more than 2 years
My question is this tablets will create any feature problem sir.
