Question: Does this sound like a virus. I get a fever/chills, a little dry cough when I move. No sore throat , can breathe thru my nose. Am. On vacation, after I sweat , fever feels better until activity drains my energy and then the fever comes back. Still low grade managed by rest and Tylenol which I assume causes the sweating.

Brief Answer:
Possible viral illness.

Detailed Answer:
Hi Sir.

I understand your query and concern.

As per your symptoms described, you possibly could have acquired a viral infection of the lower respiratory tract.

This should resolve spontaneously in most cases.

Treatment is usually supportive.

I advise you to have an X ray chest and a sputum examination.

Antibiotics like Moxifloxacin 400 mg once a day for 5 days will help.

Continue Tylenol on as and when required basis.Sweating is related to the use of tylenol.

Extensive investigations are required only if you do not respond to these mentioned drugs after 1 week.

Post your further queries if any.
Thank you.
