Question : I have viral tonsilitis. Flying to Bali Wednesday, anything special I should do to make flight more comfortable?.

I have gone through your query; and suggest you that you should use local and systemic nasal decongestant to prevent any possibility of acute otitis media after viral tonsillitis.

Flight directly does not have effect on viral tonsillitis but indirectly may affect acute otitis media if you have with this.

Consult your doctor for treatment of tonsillitis and to rule out acute otitis media.
