I have had this for several years. Very occasional feeling like cobwebs at face that are gone in a second or two. No itching or rash. No relation to food or activity. No family history. Hypertension controlled by coversyl. Also take Crestor and low dose aspirin. No particular stress. I used to try to brush web away but I have learned that they are not real. Happens maybe once or twice a month.
Could be OCD
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thank you for getting back with the reply. Your answers are suggesting that there is no systemic pathology. On the other hand there is a psychiatric condition termed as "Obsessive Compulsive Disorder(OCD)" in which patient sees things on body which actually does not exist and tries to clear it & eventually they go away. To confirm this you need to visit a psychiatrist because it requires medicines like SSRIs which are prescription only drugs and he can prescribe it after careful evaluation.
Conclusion:
If these symptoms occur rarely then you need not to worry because it may occurs due to stress. If frequency increases then you can visit psychiatrist to rule out OCD.
Hope I have answered your query. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help if not then don't forget to close the discussion and rate it.
Wishing you good health !!
