Question : My son 21 went on vacation and drank heavy for 7 days. He is now home and stop drinking but has become very ill.. Vomiting, diarrhea, stomach pains. Is this a withdraw ? If so what should I do

Hi and thank you for asking!
I am sorry for the situation your son is in.
You are reporting that he has used alcohol for the pas 7 days.
His symptoms may be related with :
- withdraw syndrome
- acute gastroenteritis
- food poisoning
This is why to my opinion you should go ti see a physician or in ER because he need physical evaluation.
May be he will need IV rehydration . It will be evaluated by physician.
Meantime you he can use:
- plenty of water
- probiotics
- PPI like prilosec
- Metoclopramide to avoid vomiting
He should be evaluated with :
- fecal culture test
- blood work
- abdominal ultrasound
