Question : I have a 1 and half year daughter and stay in Hyderabad, India. I have come to US on a short assignment with my family. Since yesterday she has been vomitting after having food and also has watery stool. I have been giving her Enterogermia oral suspension liquid , but haven't seen any recovery. Can you help ? Also to add have given her Ondem syrup twice yesterday once and once today. Ofloxacin , once in the morning today and once in the evening.

Brief Answer: relax Detailed Answer: Hi Thanks for your query. I understand your concern Acute gastroenteritis is mostly viral in nature and settles in few days. Most important is to maintain and monitor hydration. Continue with ondem twice and probiotic. No need to give oflox. Give ors after each loose stool,give lemonade,coconut water,curd,banana,boiled potato.. In case she is lethargic/decreased urine output/refusal of feed get her evaluated.
