Brief Answer:
Vomiting

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for contacting HCM with your health care concerns

I am sorry to hear that you are having severe intractable vomiting. Along with the vomiting you hare have burning pain in your esophagus. To stop the vomiting you may need to be seen in an ER or urgent care. They can give you IV fluids and medications to stop the vomiting. There are no over the counter medications that will stop vomiting.

To help stop the pain from your esophagus I recommend using maalox or mylanta. This will help coat your esophagus and neutralize the acid from the vomiting. Then drink sips of water or gator-aid. You need to prevent dehydration from the vomiting.

If you start vomiting anything with blood or coffee grounds then you need to be seen immediately in the ER as this is a sign of bleeding.

In summary
1. maalox or mylanta to neutralize the acid
2. Sips of fluids or gator-aid
3. Go to ER if unable to control vomiting or signs of bleeding

I hope I answered your question. Please contact us again if you have any additional questions
