Vomiting and diarrhea are to viral or bacterial infections though viral infection is most common.
Skin changes can occur with these infections but would resolve as the other symptoms resolve.
The most important aspect of management of vomiting and diarrhea is fluid management to prevent or dehydration.
The use of oral rehydration fluids or gatorade should be used since they would give back both fluids and electrolytes.
Small amounts should be used initially. If large amounts are used, then vomiting will occur.
Probiotics would help speed resolution.
