Question : Hi Doc. My wife (26 years) is not keeping well. She has been feeling very weak recently and feels like the entire energy drained out. She also has pain in her spine at the morning hours. (this has been more or less after the 1st baby sine last couple od years).

Brief Answer:
Maybe low thyroid or anemia

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for your query.

Nutritional deficiencies and hypothyroidism usually manifest after pregnancy and can cause similar symptoms.

I suggest that she has few basic blood tests done including thyroid profile, complete blood count, liver function tests, kidney function tests, serum calcium and vitamin D levels, fasting blood sugar. If the tests are already done, please upload the report for me to view.

Also let me know if she has any other symptoms, and medical conditions.

Meanwhile she should exercise or walk daily for atleast 20 to 30 min. Also take hygienic food and cleaner drinking water to avoid any stomach infections.

Hope it helps. Let me know if I can assist you further.
