Question : Hi, my husband is a diabetic person and now he has a kind of virus (according to his primary doctor) he has already four days with this virus. His question is what he can do about his lack of energy and weaknesses on his body....thanks so much
Brief Answer:
paracetamol usually helps...
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
if your doctor is pretty sure that it's a viral infection then there is not much you or he can do. Paracetamol (acetaminophen) may help with the general symptoms of an infection, that is with the fever, malaise, weakness, sleepiness, etc. Make sure that his symptoms are not due to other causes like low blood pressure for example.
Promethazine is useful against allergic reactions. It may cause more sleepiness, weakness and lack of energy.
Kind Regards!
