Brief Answer:
Lupus neuropathy management

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX thanks for asking from HCM.

I can understand your concern. The lupus neuropathy can cause both sensory and motor symptoms. In your case, it has caused weakness in foot. As the neuropathy is irreversible, you can follow few steps to prevent further damage and regain strength

: Ask your doctor to strictly control lupus. Control of it can prevent further damage. He might give you steroids, immunosuppressants to control the damage.

: To regain power, you should start physiotherapy - active and passive. Active therapy means you will move your foot in all range and against resistance.
Passive means somebody will move your limb to increase flexibility.

: Take some nerve regenerating medication like neutron specific vitamins - Pyridoxine, B12, Folic acid, Pantothenic acid, Vibromine after proper prescription.

: You can take tablet S-Adenosylmethionine to further strengthen the nerve regeneration.

: Also regularly check your serum electrolytes, blood sugar, B12 to rule out any other cause of neuropathy.

Hope it will help you. Still no relief, you can ask or consult neurologist.
Thanks. Take care
