Brief Answer:
Prednisone side effects

Detailed Answer:
Good day
Noted your concern. Sorry to hear about your problems. I have to tell you that Prednisone is a life saving drug. However long term use cause multiple health hazards. It can cause muscle weakness, tiredness, diabetes, cataract, thin skin and most importantly weak bones. I don't know if you had a Dexa scan to look for low bone mass .
You may have to discuss with your health care provider about physiotherapy to restore lost functions. Please take at least 1000 mg calcium and sufficient vitamin D ( 2000 units) a day. This is for bone protection. Besides, you may need to use additional drugs to protect your bones.
I am very happy to answer if you have any specific questions .

Binu
