Question : For one month I have woke up with white on the corners of my mouth and my tongue is cracked dry and covered in white. I have to scrape it all off. I have recently(September 27 to date been receiving ESIs. This isn't going away. I also have extreme acid reflux due to the muscle relaxers I've been given for an injury which as of last night will no longer take. I can't eat anything spicy or acidic due to the mouth damage.

Brief Answer:
Seems like fungal infection..

Detailed Answer:
Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC

As per your complain white coating on tongue, dryness and pain along with cracks at the corners of mouth is appearing to be due to fungal infection..

I would suggest you to consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated..

You can be advised antifungal medication like Nystatin mouthwash, Clotrimazole lozenges etc..
Taking plenty of Probiotics like Yogurt and also garlic can..

For dryness in mouth chewing sugar free chewing gum and instilling artificial saliva drops can help..

To reduce soreness and ease in eating gargle with numbing mouthwash containing Lignocaine..
For cracked corners of mouth you can apply a combination of antibiotic and antifungal ointment and do cool compresses..

If there is dryness apply Petroleum jelly..

Please write back for further queries..

Regards..
