Brief Answer:
Swab his eye inside outward with cotton dipped in lukewarm water.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

It seems that your child has conjunctivitis or an eye infection. It is hard to comment without examining the child. But based on what I understand from the minimal details that you have provided, I suggest:
* Wash his face and eyes frequently with plain water.
* Take lukewarm water and make a swab by dipping a medium piece of cotton. With it, swab inside outward from the inner angle of the eye. Do it a few times a day.
* In more severe cases, antibiotic eye drops 1 drop in the affected eye, four times a day for 5 days might be required. In that case, visiting an ophthalmologist would be a better idea.

Hope that helps.
