Question : i am having this white dry dandruff in my head. it itches every day. if I had earlier consulted a doctor. he gave me a shampoo.. with that it goes away in winter it starts itching more

Hi

I understand your concern regarding your skin problem and I hope I am able to help you in the same.
You seem to have developed seborrheic dermatitis which is basically dandruff if the scalp .
People who tend to develop recurrent dandruff ,need to continuously use anti dandruff shampoos twice weekly .
In addition ,treatment with topical steroid lotions and oral anti fungals has to be given so as to prevent recurrence .You can discuss these options with your treating doctor.
You should avoid using hair oil as much as possible .
After applying an anti dandruff shampoo ,leave it on the scalp for atleast five to seven minutes for it to act .
