Brief Answer:
Pityriasis XXXXXXX most probably...

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Welcome to HCM...

I read history and saw the photo. After that,I could conclude that most probably your daughter may be having pityriasis XXXXXXX It is a benign skin disease. It is not vitiligo...so, do not worry. There may be asymtomatic hypopigmented patches on the face and trunk. Many times, the condition vanishes without treatment. Actual cause is not known. Sun exposure, internal infection, nutritional deficiencies, allergy, worm infestation..etc might precipitate the condition. In atopic children, it is commonly found. You may consult the dermatologist for the perfect diagnosis.

I would suggest..

- antiworm like albendazole 400 mg tab. only single tablet..
- multivitamin syrup
- antibiotic like azithromycine..short course
- avoid soap bath
- apply mild steroid cream or tacrolimus oint on the patches
- avoid sun exposure

She might improve within few weeks to few months.

I hope you might have satisfied with my answer. If any query..you may ask.

Thanks.
