Suggest Treatment For White Spots On Tonsils

Question: I had bacterial throat infection where there were many white spots on each of my tonsils, dr gave me amoxicillin for 10 days. As the white spots started disappearing they were replaced by small red/brogan spots where the white spots used to be prior tO taking amoxicillin. Do you know what's going on?

please dont worry as the disappearance of the white spots indicates that the infection is resolving and your antibiotic is working well.

The white spots represent collection of pus in the tonsils and once this resolves there will still be some congestion for some time , which will be seen as red spots.

Please continue your medications and gargle with warm salt water 2-3 times a day , it will help.
