Brief Answer:
Urticaria

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for the query.
Probably you have developed acute urticaria.
It's an allergic reaction.
Take an antihistamine tablet like cetrizine.
Keep applying cortisone.
This should help you.
If possible upload a photograph of the involved area.
This will help me in giving a closer diagnosis and better way of management.
Waiting for your response.
Thank you.

Now second day. Little, if any, improvement. Will try more Coritsone and antihistamine.

More information:
I came down with a staph infection of the sphenoid sinus cavity 3 weeks ago. Also fungal infection. A few days back, finished a two week course of Amoxicillin and Prednisone. Staph appears gone; fungus still present up there. Scheduled for clean-out surgery on sphenoid in two weeks. Could skin outbreak like this be result of medication? Fungus?

Once had seafood reaction (20 years ago.) Always thought shellfish origin and avoid that. Had ahi at lunch the day before outbreak. Usually not a problem.

Would like to send photo. Don't know how to attach to this. Any other available email address?
