Question : I have been off my crestor and thyroid meds for about two weeks, because I cannot afford them. I have a pain in my neck, left hand side, and it is sharp. It comes and goes. Is this anything serious?

Hello,
The pain in your neck and left had may be coming from a nerve impingement in your neck. This cold be serious. It is important for you to see a doctor and get an exam.
Also it is important for you to take your thyroid medication at least. Please talk to your doctor about getting you on a generic thyroid hormone like levothyroxine and sending the prescription somewhere like Walmart. At Walmart you can get a 90 day supply of levothyroxine for $10.
There are also generics of statin drugs like crestor if he or she feels that you need it. Do not be embarassed, ask for generics and find out where they are the cheapest in your area.
