Brief Answer:
See a nearby doctor for further investigation

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Your son seems to be developing spontaneous bruises .
Now some people are genetically predisposed to recurrent development of such lesions over the body .
But if suddenly a person starts developing such recurrent lesions over the body ,then it is necessary to get s complete blood count done and look for the probable cause.
So I would advise you to see a nearby doctor and get the necessary investigations done so as to rule out ant major blood abnormalities .

Ok. He did have a CBC, metabolic panel, SED rate, test for liver function, and thyroid the day before the spots showed up. Today is the fourth day they reappeared. I called Doctor's office for results and was told everything came back normal. She sent notes to the doctor and told me he would get back with me next week. Thank you for answering.

Brief Answer:
Need regular follow up

Detailed Answer:
Hi again

It is good to know that the investigations have all come out to be normal .
But it is still necessary to keep a track of the new lesions. If they continue to develop or if they suddenly increase ,then you will need yo follow up with your doctor ,otherwise there is no need to worry .
In the meantime, he should increase intake of citrus fruits .
