Question : I have PERNICIOUS Anemia ,have had course of vitamin B12 Injections,and now taking Folic Acid tablets one 5mg daily until next injection course due,but I have terrible tingling and itching all over my body and cannot get to sleep for it tonight,is there anything I can do to help it.

Hello,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Vitamin B12 deficiency leads to neuropathy and damage to nerves. On supplementation there is revival of nerves with some increase in tingling for some time. It usually improves in few days.
You can take amitryptiline, sertraline for the symptoms.
Is there any history of rashes?
Any other medical illness or drug intake?
Any liver disease?
For itching you can take cetrizine.
Continue rest treatment as is being given.
