Brief Answer:
IT's skin condition related to menstrual hormone.

Detailed Answer:
HI XXXX,
Thanks for the query under HCM platform.
I have read your query carefully & understand your concern.
The periodic rash related to menstrual cycle can be-
- Due to Para Psoriasis you already have/ Atopic dermatitis , which are known to flourish due to increased menstrual hormone Progesterone.Actually other skin conditions like Acne, allergic dermatitis are also related to menstrual hormone.
- It can be Auto immune Progesterone Dermatitis .. which occurs cyclically with menstrual period- ( when Progesterone levels are raised) & disappears after the menstruation stops & so Progesterone levels fall. The rash is typically as per your discribtion.
It is seen in patients who are previously exposed to progesteron contraceptives. They get allergic to progesteron & subsiquently start reacting to their own body progesterons.
* When you go to your dermatologist - he will examine you & perform certain investigations to confirm Auto immune progesteron dermatitis( sensitivity test) & other conditions ( blood counts, swab cultures, biosy as per need) & offer you specific treatment .. to help you out of the problem.
I hope, the answer has been both informative & helpful to you. Any follow up query is welcome.
