Question : 2 yr old with 102 temp couch and and aches what to do?

Brief Answer: relax. Detailed Answer: Hi. Thanks for your query. I understand your concern. Fever is mostly viral in nature and settles in few days. I suggest you to : -give acetaminophen as per dosage 15mg/kg body weight 4to 6 hourly till fever is above 100F. -do tepid sponging if fever crosses 102F -give plenty of fluids and soft bland diet so as to maintain hydration and nutrition. In case fever persist after 24hours get him examined by pediatrician to look for any focus of infection and manage accordingly. Hope I have answered your query.
