Question : namaste doctor pls suggest medication for boils. it is very painful n red . thanks

Brief Answer: topical/ oral antibiotics Detailed Answer: Hello XXXXXXX For boils, I usually prescribe soframycin topical ointment for superficial ones. If they are quite infective and cause much pain, and also involve a large area, then I would prefer to treat it with oral antibiotics. In such cases, I prescribe Tablet Augmentin thrice daily depending on the patient's need. Hope this helps you. Get well soon.
