First and foremost thing to do is, make yourself motivated towards physical activities..not necessarily heavy gym, but do start free hand exercises at home, go out for jogging 30-45 min to your nearby park during early morning/evening..

Start your day after getting up from bed, by drinking one-two glass of water, it'll help to increase body metabolism..

Eat healthy foods, avoid junk foods, canned/processed/fast foods to avoided as much as possible..

Always try to have at least one seasonal fresh fruit daily instead of packaged fruit juices, try to avoid cold drinks and too much tea/coffee also (one-two cups per day is fine)..

Avoidance of stress and maintaining a healthy 6-8 hr of sleep duration at night is equally important for the maintenance of body's metabolism..
