Brief Answer:
Hormones

Detailed Answer:
Sorry to learn about your recent body changes.

When I see someone like you in my practice I order the following tests in addition to a thorough physical examination:

CBC
CMP
TSH
Free T4
Total testosterone
SHBG
FSH
LH
Prolactin
Ferritin
25 hydroxy vitamin D
Serum Cortisol
HbA1c

Fasting is not required for these tests but they must be done at 8 am in the morning.
I am assuming you have the conventional sleep-wake pattern ie you go to bed at night and rise in the morning time. (as opposed to night shift work).

These tests look for potential hormone-related causes for your skin/body changes. Examples include thyroid and pituitary conditions.
Note: Hope the answers resolves your concerns, however for further guidance of skin related queries consult our Dermatologist.Click here to book a consultation
