Brief Answer:
Please provide details about stone.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for your query, based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have stone in the bladder and expecting it to pass out naturally through urethra .

I shall be happy if you can post me few more details to help me in making comments on your problem.
1) What is the size of a stone detected either on ultrasound scanning or Plain X-Ray ?

The stone of a size of 8-9 mm can pass out through urethra with little difficulty. However if the size of the stone is larger than one centimetre it is unlikely to pass with ease and may cause bleeding and injure urethra.

In such a situation if the stone is larger than 1 cm or does not pass before 15 th of this month it is always advisable to fragment it endoscopically (Cystolithotripsy) and evacuate the fragments.

This is a simple procedure and needs to be hospitalised for one day only.

Hope I have answered your query ,please feel free to ask if you have more questions ,
I shall be happy to help you
Thanks and Regards.
