Hello,
Welcome to HCM
I am Dr Rakesh Sharma answering your query.
I can understand your concern.
Both these drugs are helpful in passing kidney stones, with help of plenty of water.
Drinking plenty of water is as important as taking these drugs , may be more.
Adding urimax with protrate is gives added advantage.
Hope you have answer to your query, if any thing else you are welcome,or you can close the question and rate the answer.

is there anything that i can do apart from medication to move the stone from its current position as it had not moved for 3 months being a 2.3mm stone.

The scan report said that the stone is inside the midpole region

Brief Answer:
Plenty of fluids.

Detailed Answer:
Hello again,
There are plenty of theories about diet in renal stone.
Though they are not proven , there is no harm in applying those.
To patients in my clinic I advice them to follow some of the conventional diet as follows,
1.Plenty of water. Nothing better than this.
2.Avoid tomatoes, beans,egg's yellow,fish,nuts and cauliflower.
3.Add watermelon, carrot, all juicy fruits, and banana.
These rules are set by Ayurveda, and There are no documented reports about what to eat and what not to, but following above rule does no harm to patients.
Hope you have answer to your query, if any thing else you are welcome,or you can close the question and rate the answer.
I wish you a speedy recovery.
Good luck.

Thank you doctor. I am drinking almost 3.5 litres of water a day. Will that be enough or should i have more. Also throw some light on Lemon juice and olive oil which i see in internet for treating kidney stones.

Brief Answer:
Lemon juice good.

Detailed Answer:
Hello again,
I have all ready pointed out about juicy fruits, lemon is one of them.
Olive oil is also said to be good, though not practically proved as one can not put a patient only on olive oil.
If you can add more water , it will even be better.
Hope I have answered your query, if any thing else, you are welcome or you can close the question by rating the answer.
