Question : Hi Doc,
I had my general health check done.
And the report shows that Vitamin D, 25
Hydroxy test as deficient.(5.3 ng/ml)
Can you please review.

Hello and thank you for asking!
I have seen the result attached. The Vit D level is very low and treatment should be started.
Usually the dose recommended is 50 000 UI ( VitD3) once weakly for 8 weaks and than 1000 UI daily for other 3 months.
You probably need to take calcium supplements too but calcium level should be checked before, if low calcium should be taken together with vit D.
