Brief Answer:
Brown blood suggests it is old blood and it is normal.

Detailed Answer:
Hi Miss XXXX,

Welcome to Healthcare magic.
I am Dr Ramadevi Wani. I will be answering your concerns today.

Don't get worried with the colour of the menstrual flow. Brown blood suggests it is old blood. Sometimes some of the menstrual blood remains in the uterus for a day or so before being expelled out. This old blood appears brown. This is a natural phenomenon and is normal.

Now regarding small amount of flow during period which you have been noticing. There are several reasons for it.
Sudden weight change, stress (physical or mental) due to excessive exercise, exams, change of job, change of place can all alter hormone levels temporarily causing light period. Even excessive excitement can cause light periods. Just see if any of the factors I have mentioned applies to you.
Rarely it can be due to thyroid disease. Do consult your doctor and get thyroid hormone levels measured.

I hope this helps.
If you have further queries, I will be happy to answer.

Brief Answer:
Thyroid test should be enough

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome back.
What is your BMI? It is important that you maintain a normal BMI ( 19-25 ).
If you are having regular cycles every 28-35 days then in all probability you are ovulating normally and there is no need for any other tests.

Why do you want to do fertility test ? Have you been trying for a baby. If so since how long?

As of now I feel thyroid test is enough.
If you have further queries, I will be happy to answer.

Brief Answer:
If you have regular cycles, no need for any fertility tests

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome back.

If you are having regular periods there is no need for fertility tests as of now. To improve your chances of conception , maintain normal BMI, quit smoking if you smoke and have intercourse atleast thrice weekly.
If are having regular periods in all probability your womb also will be normal. Yet if it is bothering you too much , discuss with your doctor and get an ultrasound of uterus and ovaries or an internal examination done .
