Question : Hello Doc.I would like to know what you would recommend as far as a dramatic weight loss Pill. My BMI was 42 last checked 2 years ago,and my weight hasn't changed at all. I stay within 4 pounds. I'm a type 2 diabetic. I am too afraid to do a surgery. But I don't want to die of stroke or heart attack because I took a pill instead. Any recommendations? Indeed this has proven to be one of the biggest problems of this millenium. We have no safe and effective weight loss pills that can drastically induce large amount of weight loss.
I suggest you see an Endocrinologist in person who will order some tests in addition to a thorough physical examination:
CBC
CMP
TSH
Free T4
Midnight Salivary Cortisol

There are some hormone related conditions like Hypothyroidism and Cushings syndrome that can cause weight gain.
