Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for writing to us with your health concern
I am Dr. Aarti, Gynecologist, and will be glad to help you with your query.
Since she had her last period on 25th of August, today is day 25 of her cycle.
THere is practically no chance of ovulation on day 25, as she is close to her next period.
However to be 100 % sure, you can take emergency contraception ( I pill ).
That will make it sure that she does not conceive.
Hope that helps you.
All the best.
Please feel free to discuss further.

Is there any side effects of i- pill or any kind of emergency contraceptives to become pregnent in future. What is the appropriate time for being pregnent in a mestrual cycle.(between day --- to day-----)
Brief Answer:
No major side effects.
Detailed Answer:
Side effects of I pill are - nausea, some bleeding after a few days, irregular cycles for a month or two in future, feeling tired and bloated etc.
No major side effects and no problem in future pregnancy.
To get pregnancy, you should have sex between day 10 - day 20 of the cycle, nearer to day 14 when ovulation occurs.
This is true if your girlfriend has regular cycles.
No major side effects.

Hello
OF course I understand your concern.
Actually when you place your question in the general pool, then any qualified doctor can pick it up.
But you have to ask the question specifically to a particular doctor.
For consulting me online directly, you just have to click on the following link -

That way, the question comes to me instantly and I can answer you directly.
Hope that is clear now.
I understand that there is practically very low chance of pregnancy, but the I pill will make the protection more.
That is why I suggested it to you.
And yes, taking the I pill once will not cause any damage to your body, you will definitely be able to have children in future.
The side effects are very minimal and not major, most of them are short term.
Also, I pill is most effective when taken within 24 hours of unprotected sex, but it still works when taken uptil 72 hours after sex.
So please take it if you want more reassurance.
It will cause some menstrual irregularities ( delay in period, irregular bleeding etc ), so please do not worry about that.
Hope to hear from you in future.
Take care, and wish you good luck always.
