Brief Answer:
Wait for period. Chance of pregnancy is extremely low.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for writing to us. Followings are my comments:

1) You did SAFE sex on 4th Feb if previous cycle was quite regular. Additionally, you took I-pill within 72 hrs, which will give extra protection against unwanted pregnancy. In this case, your chance of pregnancy is extremely RARE or NIL.

2) Your period is delayed due to SIDE EFFECT of the pill as a result of hormonal imbalance and mental stress. Actually, you didn't need the pill as it was SAFE sex.

3) I suggest you to await another 1-2 weeks to get period naturally. If you don't get your period within this time, you can consult with me after 1 week or with local doctor for prescription medicine to induce period.

4) Take healthy diet, avoid mental stress, need sound sleep and maintain genital hygiene properly. These will help to induce period naturally.

Practice safe sex in future with combined oral contraceptive pill (starting from D1) like FEMILON etc or use condom. Good luck.

Hope, it helps for your information. Kindly, close the discussion if you don't have any other query.

Regards,
Dr S Patra
