Brief Answer:
emergency contraceptive pill, Copper T. Medicinal MTP.

Detailed Answer:
Hi there, Dr. Purushottm Neurgaonkar welcomes you to HCM VIRTUAL CLINIC. I have gone through your question, and I think I have understood your concern. I will suggest you the best possible treatment options.

1 ) First of all do not panic.

2 ) As you might be aware that in a woman with regular cycles day 10 to 20 of the cycle is the most fertile period of cycle. If you have unprotected sex act in the fertile period of cycle, then you stand chance to get pregnant.

If your sex act was not in the fertile period, then You need not worry about the pregnancy.

3 ) Usually, emergency contraceptive pill, can be taken within 72 hours of unprotected sex act to prevent the pregnancy.

4 ) If this time period has passed out then there is option of fitting copper T within 3 to 5 days after the sex act.

5 ) Lastly, if this option is also not feasible then I will suggest you to wait for the expected date of the cycle . If you happen to cross your dates, then please get morning's first sample of urine tested for pregnancy. In case of doubt blood beta HCG test and USG will be of help.

6 ) Even if you are pregnant, you can opt for termination of the pregnancy with medicines safely till 9 weeks of pregnancy under medical supervision.

I hope this answer helps you.

Brief Answer:
Emergency contraceptive pills may not be effective. get UPT

Detailed Answer:
Hi there,
Thanks for appreciating the answer and reverting back.

As we discussed earlier,
I would like to know her last date of periods. This will help to find out range of her fertile period.

As it is well beyond 72 hours of unprotected sex act, emergency contraceptive pill may not be of help.

Also, if she happens to cross her expected date of the cycle, then it is advisable to get morning's first sample of urine tested for pregnancy. (UPT)

Even if you are pregnant, you can opt for termination with medicines safely till 9 weeks of pregnancy under expert medical supervision.
