Question : I have a creatinine 1.34. I have one Kidney. How do I get it back down? Should I stop eating red meat. My blood pressure is normal. I am 64.
Brief Answer:
Red meat is not the problem!
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.
I am so sorry to hear about this elevated creatinine and all the inconveniences this has caused you. I understand this is even a bigger concern because you have just a single kidney left. Before making major suggestions, I will like to know what the trend of this lab test has been over the years. For this, please report the past 4creatinine test result so that I can analyse them together for more informative and helpful insights.
Red meat is not the cause of increased creatinine. I will make helpful recommendations when I hear from you and am certain of what the exact condition at hand is. I look forward reading from you.
