Question : Hai doctor
For last 7 months my wife had been undergoing for pcod treatment. Now she is well . we are at regular intercourse but my Mr wife doesn't concive. I am ferfectl all right from my side. And also she had a missed period at present, not pregnant. My doctor sujjested her to take pills of cyclenorm p and cyclenorm e. Why should she take pills and for what purpose it is.? Can u explain.

It is common to have irregular periods in women with PCOS.

In women with PCOS progesterone containing pills are given to cause temporary and sudden withdrawal of hormones causing periods.

the tablets you have been given are called progesterone pills which will bring periods.
