Brief Answer:
Can get a blood test for pregnancy.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for sharing your health concern with us.

I have gone through your query.

Before you see your gynecologist, all you need to do is to get a pregnancy test, which you have already done. You can also get the blood test for the serum beta-hCG titres to serve as a bench mark for future reference.

Your doctor will perform a clinical exam, order for a trans-vaginal/pelvic sonogram to know the confirmation, age of the pregnancy, location of the gestation sac and viability. Blood counts and urinalysis are performed as a routine and vitamins supplemented, some of which you are already on.

Hope I have answered your query. Please feel free to contact for further clarifications. I will be happy to help.

regards,
Shanti.V.
