Question : I am spotting now and my period is supposed to come on in 8 days can I delay it? and is there anything over the counter I can buy?
Brief Answer:
No such over the counter product is available.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
To delay the periods you need to start taking the hormonal preparation- progesterone pill at least 3 days before the beginning of the periods. These pills are not available over the counter.
Now that spotting has already started, there is no use of taking any such pill to stop the bleeding no.
Please feel free to discuss further. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have.
Wishing you good health.
