Question : My period is due after a week. I have already completed the ovulation. I would like to delay my period due to a vacation with my husband which starts on the same date as my periods date. So my question is the week before periods is a safe period for sex . So if I take primolut the week before periods starts and delay my periods for a week ahead will it lead to pregnancy due to sexual intercourse with my husband during that week ? We wish for kids only after a few more months later on.

I can understand your concerns.
I have gone through your history and in my opinion one week before your expected period date is a safe period if you already ovulate.
You can take primolut - n for postponed your period and if you had sex during this period it will not cause pregnancy because it is your safe period but primolut- n only extend your luteal phase and it will not give you protection from pregnancy.

Doctor, I know that one week prior is safe period. But my question is the week I extend my period ie the original period week if I do not take the tablet..will that be safe too if the primolut tab is taken accordingly ?? You mentioned above it is safe in the first place and in the end you have said it will not give you protection from pregnancy"" .. which is correct maám?? please clarify....

You should take primolut- n at least 2-3 days before your expected period date and continue till the day you will not require your menses
When you stop taking it, you will resume your menses within a week.
