Question : This issue is for an OBGYN. My problem is my fiance is pregnant which isnt the problem, but i found out she cheated on me and its close to the time the baby would of been concieved from my calculations. Her LMP was 2/27/16 and she cheated on me 3/2/16. Her first ultrasound was 5/5/16 and it put the GA of the baby at 9wks3days. Also the CRL was 26.96mm. From everything i have read amd have been told, there is no possible way the baby could be the other guys. I have been told that on average the first 8-10 days from the start of a menstral cycle are considered "safe days" and chance of getting pregnant are slim to none. My only concern is that her period is sometimes irregular. Some months its right on and some months its a little later than normal, this has caused us to think she was pregamt in the past. But there have been times where it will come early. When it does come early its rare. i think only a few times since we have been together. Please help

Brief Answer:
Conception happened around 14th March.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
Her ultrasound on 5th May suggested a gestational age of 9 weeks 3 days. It means the approximate date of conception was around 14th March. According to her LMP the ovulation should have happened around 12th March. Her conception was not near 2nd Feb. So most likely the child is yours.
Please feel free to discuss further. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have.
Wishing you good health.

How long does sperm live on average. i have been told 24 hours is the best for conception and after 3 days most of them are dead. So my chances are pretty high that shes my daughter

Brief Answer:
Sperm lives for 3 days.

Detailed Answer:
A sperm cannot live for more than 3 days and there is no chance that it can cause conception on 14th March if the sex happened on 2nd march. So she is your daughter only.
