Question : my child is 6 years old and he is very thin what should I do to increase his hunger so that he will gain more weight.

I have tried every way but he is not properly eating food during lunch and dinner. How to increase his hunger?

Thanks for asking on Health care magic.

I understand your concerns but let me inform you that there is no medicine that can increase hunger. If you make this irrational demand, all that doctors would do is to prescribe some vitamin supplements which would actually be useless. Our body is made of proteins and our energy comes from carbohydrates. Thus for proper weight gain to occur, proper protein intake is essential. But please note if the parents are lean and thin you cannot expect the child to put on weight. In any case, the weight can be sequentially be plotted on a growth chart and unless the plotters cuts any lines there is nothing to worry.
