Question: Hi Sir, I am very much concerned about my personality. I am very skinny and wanted to put on a good weight. I am 28 years old. I did went to gym, but no use.

Hi, I My height is 5.6 FT and weight 54 Kgs. I used to do gym for 1.5 to 2 hrs and have the diet (Eggs, milk, bananas) Non Veg , but I stopped doing it. I would like to restart the gym and wanted to take the protein diet and supplements. Please suggest me on these. Suggest me which which proteins I can use to gain the weight and improve muscles.

Thanks for giving detailed reply,

Hi,
According to the values you provided your BMI comes to be 20.1 that comes in normal range,

BMI:

Underweight- below 18.5

Normal weight- 18.5 - 24.9

Over weight - 24.9 - 30

Obese - above 30

So your weight is in normal range,


If you want to build muscle mass,
Restart your gym and do more weight lifting exercises to built your muscle,
If you take nonveg diet include eggs meat and fish, chicken in your daily diet they contain high protein.

If you take more of veg diet,
soyabean, all pulses(dals) ,dairy products contains high protien include them in diet more often,

Protein supplements most commonly used is whey protein you can use it,
15-20 gm after workout,

Only taking high protein diet wont help you built muscle mass,
you will have to be doing regular gyming
