Suggest Ways To Get Thicker Hair

Question: Hi Doctor,

My name is XXXX, 23 years old software developer from XXXXXXX MH, XXXXXXX I experienced major hairfall in last 5-6 months. May be it was because of bad water from bore-well or may be I was not getting enough vitamins in my body. The hairfall is almost zero now (can see 3-4 hairs falling a day which I believe is a normal thing).

As the hairfall was heavy in last few months the density is not as good as it was before. It is not very thin but thin compared to previous density.. Is there any medicine, pills or hair oil that I can apply to increase density and thickness of hairs?

I don't have white hairs yet and I am health loving person who work out every day... Please suggest me a good way to get the density back. I don't think we have anyone with baldness in our family from father's end.. My grandfather (Mother's side) had baldness but no one else..

Most of the men recover from this spontaneously with time.

Daily loss of 10-100 hair follicles is within the normal range.

Change of environment in your case has most likely prompted hair loss in your case.

To have a good dense hair,i advise you the following.

1.Take tab biotin 10 mg twice a day for 90 days.
2.Apply almond hair oil for 8 hrs overnight every 3rd day.Wash the next day.
3.Take tab soy isoflavone 100 mg twice a week.
4.Take Omega 3 fatty acid capsules one tab once a week.
5.Take egg white every morning for breakfast as a side dish.
6.Avoid dust and heat to hair.

1. Does the given prescription has any side-effects?
2. Will my scalp be able to reproduce hair as previous? I no very very less hairfall now (no hairfall since 1 month) but the density is still less compared to previous years.
