Question: I need to get into a healthier lifestyle. I have been gaining weight for quite a while now and losing my fitness.
I need help in getting into a fitness regime which I can manage with my hectic office hours.

To have a healthy lifestyle the two most important things are the calorie intake and how you burn the calories.

I would suggest you to choose what you eat. Always choose healthy first. Drink lots of water. Plan meals that are healthy and easy to make. Include lots for fresh fruits and vegetables in your diet. Avoid junk food, deep fried, cheese, butter and ghee.

Secondly Exercise. You can do simple exercises like brisk walking 20 to 30 mins daily, jogging, abdominal crunches etc. You can also join a gym or zumba classes for graded and strengthening exercises.

If your weight gain is not under control I would advice you to meet a dietician for a diet chart.
